In 2021, a new chapter began for The Monarch Downtown as it was purchased with a vision to restore its former grandeur while integrating modern amenities for today’s residents. The restoration was a labor of love, carefully preserving the building’s historic charm while updating it for contemporary living. The basement, once home to a boiler room, has been thoughtfully converted into five stylish short-term rental units, offering a unique experience for guests.
